A creative midwife is someone who literally helps you birth your creative ideas and bring them out into the world (where they belong!) like actually writing your book, going through with your rebrand, making your oracle deck, finishing your painting series, the options are truly endless because your creativity has no limits fr.

“But why do I need a creative midwife?” - you, probably, yet again

Unless you’re involved in a project with other people, creative work can sometimes be a little lonely. When it’s all on your shoulders to finish the thing, especially when you don’t have a publisher yet or don’t have other external pressure, it can be hard to prioritize this work. Working with me is essentially you deciding to prioritize the project begging to exist in its wholeness, because with me, you’re gonna get it done. It’s my job to make sure you do!

So glad you asked and love your curiosity btw. I was a magazine editor for 6 years, and part of my job was literally guiding my writers through the process of having a story idea, collecting the info, writing the thing, editing it, sifting through visuals, and getting it out into the world. My superpower is organizing your chaos and making a plan you can actually stick to. I’ve also been a practicing astrologer for 2 years, specializing in attuning to YOUR cycles and creative energy, so I know that you’re a gorgeously cyclical human and not an output machine. And you get to milk me for all my astro + divination expertise AS WELL AS my editing and creative directing skills. (You can also snoop my about me page if you need more info.)

Here’s how it works:

Session One: We’ll do my signature Creative Archetype reading to ground both of us into your creative energy for this project

Session Two: You’ll brain dump your project and get me up to speed. I want to know ALL the details: where you’re at, what challenges you’re facing, the content of the project, deadlines, goals, give me all of it! After that we’ll make a plan for your project that includes the kind of support you’re looking for from me

Session Three+: The total number of sessions with me depends on the nature of your project! We may work together once a month for six months, twice a month for four months—this part is really so unique to what your goals are. Regardless, these will be check-ins where you’ll arrive having done the work we agreed you’d do, we’ll discuss where you’re at, what challenges you’re coming up against, everything. Maybe you don’t know if you wanna kill a character off in your novel, or you don’t know how to structure something. That’s where my expertise comes in. I’m your creative collaborator (but you retain 100% creative control!)

In between our sessions, you’ll have access to me via email, and you get to customize your journey based on what works for you.
